Central Queensland’s premier event, the Black Dog Ball, is a gala ball raising awareness and removing stigma surrounding depression and mental health issues. The event had been running since 2013 and was looking toward its sixth event.
The Black Dog Ball committee approached FMSTUDIOS for a rebrand, a new logo and look, website redesign, sponsorship collateral, EDM (email marketing), ticketing and event design.
The studio approached the Black Dog Ball brand with an aim to really nail down the prestige of an event that had become THE event of the social calendar. We came back to them with a brand that embodied understated simplicity and class that treated the charity’s cause with respect.
