CQID | Branding

CQID (Central Queensland Indigenous Development) originally approached FMSTUDIOS to work on the graphic design for a suite of program brochures. At the time CQID had a disconnected brand cross their programs and material that lacked consistency of message.

CQID is Central Queensland’s largest indigenous community controlled organisation, with offices in Longreach, Emerald, Rockhampton, Gladstone, Bundaberg, Woorabinda and Hervey Bay. The non-profit had grown considerably since conception; however, the brand had not grown with the business, and no longer reflected the size, scope or goals of the business. FMSTUDIOS pitched a brand identity that could tie together the different programmes and create a deeper connection with its Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.

A key component of the brand was ‘our mob helping our mob’, the heart of the brand had to reflect that this organisation not only was passionate about the local Indigenous community but is uniquely committed to its indigenous staff and board structure. FMSTUDIOS created a logo and brand identity book; a suite of business cards, letterhead, and stationery; a cutting-edge client-focussed CMS website; social media graphics and advertising; signage and banners and much more.
